B&B Oslo West is located on the property of Edward Munch at Ekely, where his studios are still standing. Edward Munch is the only Norwegian painter who directly influenced the development of European art: he was one of the creators of "expressionism". It is a ten minutes walk to the local tram that takes you down town Oslo in 15 min. Skøyen station (Airport Express Train) is a 15 min. walk away.
The host is an artist, with studio in the house. She has travelled a lot, and lived in many places, and thus speaks several languages: English, Italian, German, French and some Indonesian.
